Guard Capital invests in GetBlogger service of advertising in blogs


The founders of Delivery Club service for food delivery Levon Oganesyan and Anna Shkirina launched an online platform GetBlogger that is designed for interaction between advertisers and bloggers.

GetBlogger allows bloggers and brands to interact directly with each other to promote products and services in social networks (Influencer Marketing). Thus, both parties may refuse to work through intermediaries in the form of advertising agencies. Database on the GetBlogger website at the moment consists of 4 thousand bloggers and more than 200 brands. This year the founders of the service plan to increase the database to 20 thousand bloggers and more than 1 thousand brands.

The advertiser can choose the “agent of influence” for its target audience and to negotiate with him in an online chat about the promotion of the product. Payment also goes through the platform by credit card or e-wallet. The bloggers having more than one thousand subscribers in social networks “Vkontakte”, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube can also select the appropriate advertiser and offer their services. Access to the platform is free for bloggers and the monthly fee for brands ranges from 7 thousand to 10 thousand rubles.

Oganesyan and Shkirina invested $400 thousand in GetBlogger, and the new investor is Capital Guard with $100 thousand. This investment Fund has also promised to invest in GetBlogger another $1 million in the course of this year.

Marketing Agency TrulyCast estimated the market for Influencer Marketing in 2016 to reach $1.6 billion. GetBlogger founders believe that in Russia it is a perpective market despite the fact that it is currenty controlled by 50-100 bloggers and advertising agencies, which sell their services to brands at a premium.
